With a never-give-up attitude and passion for food, Sue-Ann has become synonymous with South African cuisine. Influenced from an early age by her grandmother’s home cooking, Sue-Ann has blossomed into an award-winning chef and beloved TV personality. A notable career highlight was clinching runner up in the first season of Gordon Ramsay’s MasterChef South Africa. 

Trained under Grand Chef Peter Templehoff at the award-winning Green House restaurant at Cellars Hohenhort in the Constantia Wine Valley, Sue-Ann has also collaborated at several other notable restaurants. She also runs a private chef service in Cape Town, under her Sue-Ann Allen Culinary Management brand. 

Sue has cooked for esteemed guests from the USA, UK, France, Australia, Indonesia and Africa. She is also private chef to X-Factor judge, Nicole Scherzinger when she visits Cape Town. Sue-Ann lights up our Cape Town salon with her infectious smile and generous spirit and we feel privileged to be part of her amazing journey.
